Pick flags/targets (one or more) suitable for irons (9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2). Two visual aids are needed – aim target and end target. Hit 5-6 balls with each iron to various cones (one bucket of ~50 balls). Hit 5-6 balls with each club at the aim targets (cones). If the ball ends between the aim target (cone) and the flag (end target), the given shot/club is an opportunity worth exploiting further. Test various clubs and types of ball flights to discover which shot is an opportunity. For example, shot that curves towards the end target most often, is an opportunity likely to turn into strength. If the shot/club never curves or if it ends at the outside of the aim target (cone), it is a negative tendency better to avoid.
